Bill Cossey AM
Chair
B.Sc., MAICD Director since 1999 Bill retired from full-time work in 2004 after a 36-year career, mainly in the South Australian public sector. During his career, Bill held a number of Chief Executive positions, the last being as Chief Executive of the Courts Administration Authority. In addition to being Chair of the credit union, Bill serves on several boards, including the University of South Australia Council, Tennis SA, Eastern Waste Management Authority, Energy Industry Ombudsman (Chair) and Adelaide Benevolent Society .
Peter Evers

BA (Acc), FCPA, FAICD, SF Fin Director since 2010 Peter has worked for People’s Choice for more than 20 years, serving as Managing Director/Chief Executive since 2000. He sits on the Federal Treasurer's Financial Services Advisory Council and is also the Chairman of the CU Pageant Company Ltd. Other positions include being Chairman of CU Technology Development Ltd; Director, Cuscal Limited and Australian Central Credit Union Ltd (Group)
John Cossons
Deputy Chair
FAMI, MAICD Director since 2001 John is a small business owner and property investor. He joined the Northern Territory Credit Union’s Board in 1981 and was elected Deputy Chairman in 1988 and Chairman in 1998, a position he held through the merger with Australian Central in 2001. John serves on other Darwin based boards and acts as the independent chair on several advisory boards providing advice in the education sector.
Jan McMahon
BA (Hons), FAICD, AFAMI Director since 1989 Jan has been working in the public sector and representing members of the Public Service Association in various capacities since for over 25 years, becoming the first full time female General Secretary in 1992. Jan also serves on various public and private sector Boards, including being Chairperson of Health Partners Inc, a Director of the SA Superannuation Board and a Director of Funds SA.
Dr Rosemary Brooks
PhD, MBA, MA, BA (Hons), LLB (Hons), GDLP, AFAMI, FAICD, JP. Director since February 1995 Rosemary is Principal of St Ann’s College Inc., a University residential College for students from rural and regional areas of Australia and overseas. Rosemary was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia as a barrister and solicitor in 2007 and works as Assistant to Counsel, Murray Chambers on a pro bono basis.
Anne Skipper AM
Dip. Nursing, FAICD, FAIM Director since 2002 Anne is an experienced businesswoman with more than 20 years of experience as a board director and chair of government, not-for-profit and private sector boards. She is currently a consultant specialising in corporate governance. In addition to being a Director of the credit union, Anne is Chairperson of Silver Chair RDNS (SA) Group and a Director of Qantas Foundation, Adelaide Central Medicare Local and Chairperson of Plan International Australia.
Mark Day
B. Bus, Grad Dip (Applied Finance and Investment), FAICD, SA Fin Director since 2006 Mark has had a long career in banking and finance, with positions in the treasury departments of banks and merchant banks in South Australia and interstate. In addition to his role with People’s Choice, Mark is Chair of Corporate Treasury Consulting, Chair of SuperCycle Incorporated, Chair of the Electricity Industry Superannuation Scheme and a member of the Advisory Committee of Dexus Wholesale Property Fund and State Representative of Value Adviser Associates.
Terry McGuirk
BA (Hons), AFAMI, FAICD, SA Fin. Director since 1996 Terry is Managing Director of McGuirk Management Consultants Pty Ltd, which specialises in strategy, structure and human resources consulting for the finance industry. Before establishing his consultancy, Terry was a senior executive in several accounting firms, including a position as Director of Price Waterhouse. Terry is a Director of Mary MacKillop Care (SA) and Independent Member on the Governance and Risk Committee of City of Campbelltown. He is also a former Director and Chairman of SYC, Adelaide’s largest youth charity.
