Automatic flood cover introduced

People’s Choice Credit Union will be including flood insurance on all of our home, contents and landlords policies from February 2012, providing members with greater protection than ever before.
All policies, provided by our insurance partner CGU will automatically include cover for flood on renewal, ensuring all members are protected in the event of flood, storm or water damage to their home. Existing policy holders will receive more information from CGU during January and February 2012.
Flood cover premiums will be determined using state of the art geo-coding. Each individual property will have a premium based on the frequency and severity risk of flood for the particular property. Members in a no-risk area will not incur any flood premium.
