Croxton School is a Multi-Campus specialist school catering for students with a mild to moderate intellectual disability aged 5-18 years, coming from a variety of different ethnicities and low socio-economic backgrounds. Some students have multiple disabilities including Down's Syndrome, are on the Autism spectrum, Cerebral Palsy and some serious medical conditions which makes their lives challenging. We provide a learning environment, which is safe, secure, challenging and above all success orientated. Each student has an Individual Education Plan which is followed and reviewed regularly. Our school aim is to provide our students with life-long skills and employment opportunities.
We are currently refurbishing our primary playground area with artificial turf, new garden landscaping, play equipment and sensory areas for our students aged 5-9 years. The funds raised would contribute to beautifying and enhancing our playground to support the learning and teaching of our students. Due to some new building works this area is in desperate need of an overhaul. Our students deserve to have a fun, safe and inviting area in which to play and socialise.
